INXS vs Outkast - You Need Roses
Track Review
Released: 2005
Download It (7.0MB)
Today's mash-up pits the 80's white-boy funk of INXS ("What You Need") vs the 00's soul-hiphop-pop of Outkast ("Roses").
It should come as no surprise that Andre 3000's smooth vocals perfectly complement Hutchence and the boys' danceable backing track.
What did come as a surprise however, was that after 2 minutes of appreciating the experiment I suddenly felt compelled to switch it off without the slightest interest in ever wanting to hear it again.
